Feb 09, 2025

Munich (Germany), February 09 (ANI): Approx 200,000 demonstrators turned out on streets in Germany’s Munich on Feb 8 to protest against far-right. With many holding banners and signs against Nazis, protesters showed their anger against opposition leader Friedrich Merz. He recently proposed legislation on migration similar to that of the right-wing AfD party. Demonstrations against the right-wing are intensifying in Germany as the February 23 election approaches. According to Germany's INSA polls on Saturday, the AfD is currently polling second to the CDU.
